Meet My Critters
-
Ace
American Foxhound is his breed and sleeping is his favorite activity. He also enjoys going for walks when the weather permits. He is a sweet boy, loves to cuddle, and lives for getting his ears rubbed!
-
Leana
She has floppy ears and a full tail but that does not make her any less Doberman. Although, sometimes acts more like a cat. She is the princess of the family.
-
Rona
A Rottweiler she is. This high energy girl loves to go places, chase her ball, and swim.
-
Amber
Barely a horse at only 14.2 HH. I was told this blood bay mare is quarter horse when I got her….However, she has an attitude like a mustang and dances like a morgan so cannot be certain. She is a pretty easy keeper, likes to play kick ball, and learn new things.
-
Ollie
This boy can be quite the trouble maker when he wants to be. Most f the time you will find him sleeping anywhere he feels appropriate, begging for food, or pestering the dogs.
-
Piston
Introducing our newest addition, Piston! Don’t let him being a tortoise fool you, he is quite active, interactive and inquisitive.
-
The Littles
These “Three little Birds” are conures. We have a yellow sided that is shy and therefore not in the photo, a green cheek (left), and a turquoise (right). They may be small but they are mighty in attitude and very opinionated.
-
Newt
Newts are different than other types of salamanders. They are semiaquatic, meaning they alternate between aquatic and terrestrial habitats. You will often see this one performing flips in the water, basking among tank decorations, or playing dead.
Roomba is a Pleco or “sucker fish” as they are known for eating algae that accumulates in the tank and why we call him/her Roomba (not photographed), is his/her tank mate and best buddy.
-
The Snakes
Thing 1, Thing 2, and thing 3 as we call them are our Boa Constrictors. They range in size, are good eaters, and at times can be pretty interactive. They are curious and will go explore if given the opportunity.
